Trending @Wipro; Getting out of this shit hole
So basically A project manager just want to satisfy his ego and asked my Practise manager (PM) being cut out from the same piece of cloth planned to release me.
But they have to answer to their respective bosses so they asked me to send a email "asking for a release from the project". I sent the email after promises from my PM that he will deploy me in one of the many projects he handles. But just as my last billing date was closing PM stopped responding.
I decided that day I need to lookout for opportunities. I updated my resume and started applying for all the openings I came across.
Since Im in bench I know I'll get an early release soo I gambled and gave the lwd as mid of April for all interviews I gave. Now I have more than 3 offers and further interviews lined up pending HR discussion.
So yeah!! Eff you PM and Project Manager. You can play your dirty politics in this shit hole. Bubye.
Just sharing my experience. Understand wipro is not the only company, start giving interviews in the relevant field you'll learn on d go. Don't be afraid of the change.

Hey @DunkedOreo bro, If you don't mind. Can I connect to you? I am stuck in this politics. Just to give brief, I'm in Wipro from past 5.5 years and was part of Mtech program. I need to switch the company. Have some doubts.

Mention all this in your exit interview. It can impact the managers

I would also suggest you to complain to HR about this before leaving and if possible initiate ombuds on the respective managers

Thanks mate! But there is an another reason why I call this a shitty company! There was a sexual harrasment case against the same project manager I mentioned here! But he blamed the girl entirely and moved her outof the project and now there is a second complaint where I seen the email with my own eyes asking that particular employee to revoke the email. If there is a power center everyone else is a boot lickers. Not even an ounce of self respect

This is indeed a good advice, thanks for sharing your journey
