Getting old
I’m a software developer who has had a very boring life. I’m earning well (75LPA+) and do not get motivation chasing numbers anymore now but I do appreciate the fancy ₹1L ergonomic chairs at work. In terms of work, i don’t face any major challenges and honestly I don’t crib about the long hours in my org. As for personal health, well there’s no personal health. Like many others, i crossed 25 recently and sitting at my desk this Tuesday suddenly my lower back is upto giving up completely. Apart from that, have always been too nerdy to develop any fitness hobby and have no interests as such either. Somehow, the fact that money can’t buy a painless spine has being hitting hard a lot but I have been helping and healing by looking at the free food and perks I have in life. Family is slightly pushing physiotherapy as an option but I don’t want to ruin my daily routine because I don’t feel that’s something which will help and don’t think a good doctor match will be possible. Perfectly fine staying stiff and sitting alone for rest of the life rather than ending up with some quack chiropractor with any sort of past. Given all this, i really would not want to harm or hurt my posture more because I won’t overlook such a fact. My standards for a good chair too are a bit high I must confess in which its almost next to impossible to find anything better. People have been suggesting yoga but I don’t think that will be useful and its all now cheap business. Open to hear thoughts ! Thanks :)
