Getting a Homeloan is a pain in the ass

If anyone has had a smooth homeloan experience, do let me know. Also if not, which bank/who did you have for a smooth experience. Buying a property over 1Cr, have a 40lpa yearly income, with savings and matured SIPs over the last 15 years.

Navi has food flow. Got it at very competitive rate and no paperwork. All digital in app and they came to house for verification.

All done in 1-2 hr max.

Are you buying an apartment? If yes, they usually have a tie-up with banks, right? Makes it easier as they have the legal approvals and property related stuff already.

Mine was with SBI. While it was seamless, it took its own time to get approved and granted. But, now I see others getting fairly quick from HDFC with minimal checks and I keep wondering are they even doing due diligence!
