GenZ PM (21M) disrespected our best engineer(29F)
We recently let go of a male PM intern who was being disrespectful to the allocated mentor. She is literally one of the best engineers we have ever hired. She extremely senior and it is a shame that this new generation of GenZ PMs inspired by Andrew T*te say all of these misogynistic things.
The constant bickering around design practices + Product Frameworks + unnecessary jira verbosity was super unproductive for our teams honestly. It is a shame that Women in Tech have to face this.

This is the ultimate reality. Sad to see women face this.

@MatureFrock Women end up facing so many hurdles.

What exactly happened? Was it sexist or pure incompetence? I want to understand the underlying motivations of this intern
- was it or is it a pattern (anecdotally) with newer batch of PM’s?
- does it mean that women face harsher consequences/reactions with people across opposite gender or generations or skill? (I know they do, just understanding a larger perspective)
- does this intern have a culture round as a proxy? I am aware it doesn’t help to know everyone about a person but can gauge.
- what’s the faff was he preaching across the process?

If an interaction between two people hampered your team’s productivity, then your team have bigger problems than an intern. You are a bunch of adults who should know better that a senior engineer would deal with it herself. But hey, ‘a kid “disrespected “ a senior engineer and there goes my day’s work’. Hint: you seem to be the immature party in all of this.

Respect ki koi baat nai usko aata ya nahi aaya bas itnaich sa baat hai ...aata hai to disrespect bhi ho to kya problem.
Offend hona hamare society ka sab bda problem hai. @Chanachor
