People are paid proportionate to the value they bring. Women's sports simply doesn't generate enough money.
Women's fashion on the other hand..

This is the right answer.
While, yes, there may be pay disparity at places where the people deciding the pay think less of women, but generalizing this fact across every aspect and person who gets paid more isn't fair

Dude women being paid less in general is not fiction. It is reality. And no it is not because of value.

Don't know about the post but i love seeing Nadal, so charming, fit and witty. The person who one can term as epitome of grace in true sense. He is one of the sportspersons that I had admired the most. GOAT for me.
PS : I'm a male.

These kind of interviews always have these trap questions. If we accept the premise, a very basic question is why is everyone paid differently for doing the same thing? I should be paid as much as cristiano for kicking a ball. Communism all the way.
Then clowns join in asking for equality when they don’t want to work as hard or create as much value but still want all the rewards. Where society went haywire is not calling out these freeloaders cos they would use a socially acceptable mask of equality and so on. If you ask them a logical question, the response is always emotional cos they never want to debate or even justify their position.
Look at enthu’s comment dismissing this without any proof, and then still standing her ground when given the proof. Outright liar even when proven

I hate gender discussions can we just include cognitive abilities, worthiness and value they bring. Let's play to our strengths

If you don't play good, you won't get recognized. What is this crazy obsession of putting everyone at equal scale even if they are not bringing viewers. How much do you think Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Phogat sisters, Mary Kom and etc etc will make against their male counterparts. Definitely more because they bring in viewers by giving an excellent play.

Media wale !

It was a question starting with Do, so not typo.
I'm talking about wider fashion industry because the OP mentioned fashion and not modelling. And no women don't get paid more there. Honestly core fashion industry has shit payments for all genders tbh

Outside of revenue based roles, do you think the discrimination in pay is based on gender or talent? (I understand everyone is paid shit, but some are still paid more than others. From what i know it’s based on popularity and talent)

It's not about equality, rather it's about equity.... That's what ☯️ teaches us
