Gave me a 1st retention offer.
So few days back I resigned as I got an offer from ACN. as an ideal approach, I implied them 20% more than the offer I have from ACN. HR was like no we can’t match it. HR later offered me 8-9% less than ACN. what do I do ? I still have 2.5 months notice remaining. Will they review the retention offer ?
Stick with ACN. TCS won't match it. Move on.

Send simple mail CCing you immediate manager, hr and optionally team lead.
It's depend on your manager... You should check with them to get increase your retention % from TCS.... They can sure push HR but again ultimately it will be HR decision... Thy offcourse won't match exactly what you are getting outside but negotiation can increase your retention % but as I said your manager push is must required for that
I see, we had a word before HR discussion. He sent a mail to HR for my retention and then got a meeting scheduled from HR.
It's gamble if getting hike here stay as I came frm Accenture not even a single rupee hike for 3 years and whn I had put down paper india head called to convince nd offered 10% hike on the spot nd promotion and hike in Dec 2024 but I didn't accept nd moved out .. one of my colleagues accepted and stayed back and as it's everywhere in New no promotion nd hike this year too in accenture
Dont stay in TCS n resignation back my suggestion just try for better offer (counter offer). Dont waste ur time staying in TCS.
