Gautam Gambhir is that one toxic manager who had helicopter landing on top, fired old people , brought his own team and disturbed balance .
Someone needs to badly put his papers.
Yep what’s going on is quite sad. But why is everyone blaming Gambhir? Isn’t it the team that’s playing quite poorly?
Isn't he the head coach? Didn't he inherit a team of world champions? Why did the performance drop after his takeover. Why did we lose a player like Ashwin? Its not the first time he was benched. I remember Dravid emphasizing about having clear conversation with each benched player. He did that with Saha, Samson and many more. It kept them in mix of things with positive mindset. This reflected in the dressing room and team's performance too.
I doubt if such conversations are happening now.If not, it seeds insecurities in rest of the players and affects morale.
I feel it's more about who's controversial, whom we can target, etc..
Anyway, they are the same people (cricketers) who were praising Gambhir after T20 series win because of Dressing room environment (source: Last T20 Series press conferences)
