Gap year and MBA

I have 1 year experience as an Ecom Analyst in a small startup. I have recently joined Zomato as a Key Account Manager. I am planning to get an MBA next year. Considering the work atmosphere here I don't think it will be possible to prepare for the CAT exam. If I leave the job right now and start preparation along with freelancing my resume will have a gap year of 1.5 years. Would that affect my admission
