Future of grapevine

I stopped using LinkedIn because it is close to becoming another Facebook, I use to be a big time quora user, I hardly open quora these days, I don’t have the app in my phone. I used to be a moderator of a tech IRC channel way back in 2000s, quality conversations can only thrive if there is some sort of moderation.

I also agree too much moderation kills the democracy and discourages asking questions and new stuff. Need to find and settle at the balance where the quality is maintained and ppl get the value.

Currently serious ppl are here, once the app gets traction and a lot of ppl start signing up. The day might not be far where we start seeing shitty posts like we do currently in linkedin, the moment these so called tech influencers feel there is a huge TG in grapevine, this place will be swamped and the basic real content and conversation we are having in this platform will be out of the window

Maybe only downvotes not moderators because they may censor the voice against some big tech
