Can you please give me suggestions on how much we learn for Salesforce tester for service cloud I know but we perform ui testing only but in the market they want the admin part as well which only perform by operations team
Most of the admin part involves creation of users and configuring users. Atleast for qa that should be enough. As we continue to work we should be knowing many other configurations which can be done in setup. You should know about role hierarchies, how to use soql queries, and few other small concepts.. I think every Salesforce person should have a salesforce system admin certification which covers all the basic knowledge required
And also if we look further for an onsite opportunity if there is any we get from the company or we can apply by our own
Start learning automation to your current skill and also functional side
Actually automation testing in salesforce is not that great option as most clients we get will require continuous changes throughout the project. Automating testing will be time consuming and not that of great value atleast in this technology I believe. But thanks for suggestion.. I would explore more
