Fun fact about HCL Townhall meets

HCL meets are unpredictable! Because you never know if it will ever follow schedule! Actually, that's incorrect, you almost certainly know that it won't!!

So, as a fun game, me and few of my close colleagues have started a bet (no money involved, just pure fun) each time a Townhall or employees connect with senior leadership is scheduled. We place bets on - a) The meeting will start 10 min late fron scheduled time, b) will start 10-20 min late, c) will be more than 20 min late.

We had a recent TH scheduled on 27th March, where 7 of us placed bets. I chose option 'b'. When we were kept waiting till 10 min, I had a pretty good feeling of winning the bet. But around 15 min mark (when about 50 people who joined via Teams got a bit restless ), a few of them started asking questions about when it will start. Then someone from the HR contacted the main Organizer, and we were told it's going to be cancelled and rescheduled later.

So none of us won the bet and also got a vital lesson! To keep an option 'd' next time for canellation!!
