Full MBA not considered in TCS without a sabbatical?

I had my full time MBA done during COVID due to which most of it was online except the exams. I got my certificate approved in portal as well. Although HR say we have to take sabbatical for this to be considered. Any one else faced similar issue?

By definition of full time course - it cannot be done with a full.time.job. either job will be part time or the course ...

you are right, TCS typically requires a sabbatical for a full-time MBA to be recognized. online MBAs during covid might not meet the criteria. it's a common issue, and HR is quite strict about it.
