Frustration - Job switch - Job Portals - Notice Period
Dear Seniors,
I want your help, I am constantly applying on Naukri and LinkedIn and have 500+ applies (not even kidding, literally 500+)
Companies are not ready to wait for 90 days. The current company is not giving hike, not negotiating notice period.
I have family to look after and no one in my family is educated whom I can ask for advice.
I see many people seek multiple offers with stunning packages.
What am I doing wrong, I don't know.
Please guide me.
- Any other job portal I should try?
- How to handle 90 days Notice Period?
Thanks in advance!

I have been sailing on the same boat and offering same advice do not mention to companies its 90 days instead say it's negotiable to 60 days.. So that you get interviews at least considering you get offer tell them you spoke to your manager but isn't willing to release you they'll have to wait another month... Companies can wait and you'll also get enough backup

No need to tell 90 days, tell that you are on bench, so you can be released at shorter notice. Get an offer first

Happened with me for TCS, they released an offer to join in 30 days, now I cannot resign because I can't join in 30 days, they are not ready to wait for 90 days!
Feels deadlock

I have lost my various night sleeps over this 90 days shit, luckily HR was ok to get the guy in 90 days…

Start applying to jobs saying you can join within 30 Days, crack interview get offer letter and then negotiate on both sides, in my case it worked, recently resigned from Infosys serving 1 month NP

Second option in worst case it both are not agreeing on that you can take back resignation

Same boat

Say 60 get interviews then make an excuse around 35 day mark
They will wait

More than applying via job portals, use cold emails/build relationships and advice via warm connects 90 day notice period -> It's a big problem, I'll let others in IT solve that for you
