Frustrated on notice period

On notice period I have to go to the client location. How much should I care? What would happen if I stopped going? For context, work won't get affected. My dependency is all reduced to hardly 20-30% non critical work that can be handled remotely. The project has an offsite and having worked on it for a year now, I wanted to go but I lost all motivation now and it seems like I won't be going since I am on NP. My last reason to work is leaving on good terms as the team members feel good but that is also getting weak by teams behaviour when I am on NP. Do I have to work if I am on payroll even on NP? I would be happy if they release me right now. I have no backup job, just done. What to do? Can I just lay on the grass and watch the blue sky for my NP?
