From Apple to auto-rickshaw: How Rakesh found freedom beyond the corporate world

I just saw this article on the news today and I'm wondering about it. I'm sure many have thought about something like this. I still have questions about how he managed finances or is he just burning through his savings from corporate time. He seems to have gone through an extreme low in his personal and professional life before choosing this path.

Anyone who has insights about this or has tried something along these lines, feel free to share your thoughts/experience.

Is he married though? If he's not married 1k/day is very manageable for 1 guy and he might have saved corpus for medical emergency of parents / self etc.

Or maybe he has a waifu that earns him 2L per month

From what I read in the article, he had marital issues which was a cause in his mental strain. He was on antidepressants.

Even if that person got tired from the rickshaw also then he can join again by mentioning personal break, you will see two faces one "a day in the life of FAANG" or two because of loneliness etc people drive rickshaws.

I'm curious about this. How people are dealing with loneliness. I see everyone around complain about loneliness, yet they are barely available and prefer staying alone in their free time.

Considering you're on a career break, what's your view on it?
