Friendship has a very good trait: Be it at work or in general.
Adulting might seem tough in one scenario that you are all alone to fight with all chaos and face the situations. But you know having good friends make it a bit easy. There are many things which you cant share with your parents (as we often think it may make them sad) but can share with your friend to figure the way out.
Its not necessary that you must be extrovert to talk to everybody, Nah!.. if you have a few only right with whom you can share stuff knowing they dont make fun of it in front of others and truely understand you.. thats also is a blessing. Now doesnt matter you fight but dont leave them. Just keep the things sorted.
What I have realised over time is learning what to ignore is the most underrated skill. We tend to focus on everything but its better to know what to ignore in the process of becoming better.
I used to get annoyed on small small things I still do sometimes especially at my work place as majority of time goes there only but I have gained more control on what to ignore. Thanks to my colleagues though in this they have helped a lot.
So, for me adulting feels good as it has made me kind of independent, strong enough to fall and walk again, handle failures and becoming a better "being".
I couldn’t agree more with this. I can proudly say I’ve been incredibly lucky with friendships from sharing classroom benches to college canteens, and now even starting our careers in the same city. I’m not sure how the stars aligned that way, but it’s the biggest reason I’ve not only survived the corporate world but have become a 'pro' in it. I don’t call people friends easily because that word means a lot to me. In the office, I use the term colleagues and I’ve been lucky to have some amazing seniors and teammates who helped me navigate toxic corporate politics. If they hadn't been there, I don't think I would have survived especially with this sharp mouth of mine that often speaks without thinking and surprises me as much as everyone else!🙂🙃
Friendship has played a vital role in my entire life, and I’m so thankful for it. I guess it’s already very obvious which 1/3 of that triooo I’m talking about here, considering how much we’ve already taken over other threads!😅😂😂
