Friend mother passed away
My friend who is in accenture recently lost his mother due to heart attack, He told his manager and has not reported from 14 days ,
Can he take leave for 1 or 2 month on any basis ? Unpaid or long leave ?

drop a formal mail stating she will be on leave, or ask your friend to do so. Copy HR too. apply leave in system. If leaves are not enough, mention LWP is fine.

Yeah will do this, but what are the chances ? Does these big mnc give leaves like this ?

sorry, that was a typo. They will give. Many orgs have bereavement leave.
