Can anybody share a cold email template that they used to get jobs.
I have never tried cold emailing and my overthinking is not helping in writing a cold email. Can anyone help

friend made GPTs to get jobs😤
we were playing truth or dare and my friend challenged me that she could get any job interview with a cold email/dm.
I usually receive hearback from 1/50 job postings I apply to, so didn't believe her at all.
now she made a GPT to write cold emails and get job interviews.
I really wanna use it, but she is flexing so hard now, my ego tells me not to use it.
help me out, do cold emails and all really work?

Yes cold emails work.
But they need to be customized for each recipient.
Format it like -
Subject - applying for role | your name
First para - talk about the company applying to and how you can add value to the company with the role you are applying to (customize this)
Second para - details about your work ex/college ex/etc (fixed)
Third para - stuff about how you would love the opportunity, appreciate a reply (fixed)
Sign off Add link to your portfolio
Use mail merge Mail merge sheet to have details for 1st para

For context - used this post 1st wave of COVID to switch from manufacturing to tech
50 mails a day, one week - got 15-16 replies (most would be no, or they are looping in others, but all you need is 1)

I ain't reading all that. Why can't they be like... you got any of them referrals homie? And I'm like sure dog let me hook you up.
But jokes aside always specify which role you are applying for with job IDs. People are not going to go through your resume and look for the ideal open profile for you because that's your job. This may not hold true for small startups/firms, there you need to specific what you are looking for and reach out to recruiter/founder/head for referrals. This is harder as you are always unsure if they actually have any openings.
