for guess-estimates, simple questions like how many cabs run in a day in your city could be asked. the answer should be 5-6%(2x3%)of the population you start with. now how you arise to the number is the defining factor.

for instance, take 60% of estimated population for the age group 16-60 taking cabs everyday twice.

now you could segregate only upper middle class and upper class.

now take 80% of them having their own vehicle.

use 80-20, for 80% accuracy - and answer any follow up questions
