Fresher role QA Tools and Test Development @ NVIDIA?

Hey there I have a offer for QA tools and test development intern at NVIDIA. But the thing is I am an AI background guy and I asked around and most of the people told me that it's really difficult to switch back to SDE or AI once you are in QA.

I have an intern opportunity from a startup in AI and conversion for 15-17LPA

Nvidia is offering somewhere around 17-20LPA post conversion What should I do? Which one should I pick

Join the ai startup, people in Nvidia are getting pretty complacent

2 routes :
pick nvidia, work for 1 year (learn nothing because your duties are predefined before you arrive) - shift out to any other company ( they'll be waiting for you to quit nvidia)

or

pick the startup - work for 1 year ( learn so much you get rid of imposter syndrome you start saying shit like, 'ill only start one nvidia')

Both routes are equally good, but left to you to see whatchu value more.

Bro that Nvidia package is along with stocks.

Don’t join for this package.! Ask for better base

Otherwise work in a startup, learn things. And then join Nvidia as a software engineer.

Leaving QA org is difficult mostly.

Yeah bro That's what I am concerned about

From designation it seems like you will be coding tools/frameworks for QA people.

It is a good role to be in especially at a company like Nvidia.

And there are many people who have switched from QA to SDE.

So I would suggest you to think properly before rejecting this offer.

Go with NVIDIA. Big name, better pay, and more opportunities. Startups are risky and may not give you the same exposure. Stick with the big player, it will benefit you in the long run.
