Trending @Accenture; Fresher needs a help

I am a recent graduate and have completed my stream training in Java Standard Edition. Currently, I have been on the bench for the past three weeks and have not yet been assigned to any project. My job market is categorized under AA&ME.

However, I have a growing interest in building a career in data analytics. I am considering enrolling in an online data analytics course to earn a certification. Once completed, I plan to upload the certificate to my competency profile and request to change my primary skill from Java to data analytics.

I would appreciate your guidance on this. Should I continue deepening my expertise in Java, or would it be a good move to transition toward data analytics at this stage in my career?

I would suggest you to have a STS. Skill to Survive. First you need a skill to survive.. imagine you are fired tomorrow and you need another job.. are you good enough to get another one? If yes.. continue with your interest. If no.. first learn what you can do about it asap.
I strongly believe obsession can take you anywhere and I hope you are not interested in data analytics just because it is cool to hear or you want to try it out but you actually have done some decent projects, read through research papers, built models, optimised huge data, good with SQL, pick up valuable insights, clean data, efficiently chunk up huge data with minimal resources and can code fluently in python. If this is the case.. I would suggest you to leave java and focus on what you like the most.. If not.. learn the skill which you have the most touch in that will get you a job anywhere. Remember, nothing is easy. If it was... Everyone would be earning, everyone would be driving a Lambo, everyone would be chilling.. Eat healthy, lift weights, code, sleep, repeat.
