Fresher confused 😕

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice regarding my career path. Currently, I’m working at a mid-sized product-based company in a semi-tech role, mostly inclined towards data analysis. On the side, I’ve also built a few automation scripts for web tasks.

Lately, I’ve been really interested in cloud technologies. I’ve just started with Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and I’m planning to go deeper into it. In my current company, moving fully into cloud work would take around 6-8 months since they’re still transitioning — right now we’re mostly on AWS but planning to set up a hybrid cloud setup.

Now, I’m a bit confused — should I stay here, build more cloud experience internally, and make the move once I’m more confident? Or should I start doing a few cloud projects on my own and switch companies earlier? (Btw, my notice period here is 2 months, if that matters.)

Would appreciate any thoughts or advice from folks who have been through something similar!
