Fresh round of layoffs at Amazon India. Has anyone heard anything?

Had heard from someone that there were layoffs supposed to happen this week at AWS. Just heard from a colleague that someone they know was asked to leave today.

Does anyone know more?

From what I’ve read one more round of lay offs in July ~10k employees.

Not sure about fresh grads, but if economy continues going downhill thn the risk is real
