Frequent switches?

I have around 7+ years of experience. I have switched my last two company too early ( first - worked 9 month, second - worked 13 month) now it's been 9 month to my current company and I have offer to switch. I already put down paper. What do you guys think , will these frequent switches will affect my career in long run?

Yeah will affect your career.
Switching at about 2 years gaps early in your career is fine.

But at 7 yoe switching every 9 months. Some HR will take that as a red flag

Why are you even switching that much anyway? You'll barely be onboarded by the time you leave. You're resetting your promotion timelines every time you switch

Is there really a red flag type of thing in IT? What I think is this is about supply and demand. A good explanation would not work?

You're reasoning is half incomplete.

Demand is there for good workers who will get the job done. Workers who stay longer are more efficient at getting the job done.
And save the company money spend in rehiring and training a new person.

You are making yourself a low value product and reducing the demand for you when you keep switching like this.

And what is this good explanation you have please share

Half complete and half incomplete are the same thing. You sound like a pessimist 😋

New company HR didn't ask you about this? If yes what was your answer?

Many folks are working in IT for low - medium salaries for 20 -30 years.

But if we Earn that 20-30 years of money in first 15 years by taking few calculated risks. We can save our mental peace in our old age. So switching is good option here.

Switching is good but not to the extent that this guy is doing. 3 stints all with a year or less is too much.

In early career switching once every 2 to 3 years is normal and healthy. Under a year is red flag.

If you stay in your next company atleast for 3+ years, the impact will be low.

But if something unexpected happens and if you had to find new roles within months of joining, then you’ll be cooked. Nobody will take the risk of hiring you except FAANG. That too only if you are smart enough to tackle the questions they ask in Behavioral interviews for frequent job hops
