Freelance / part-time as PM?

I'm wondering if there are actually any freelance or part-time opportunities for product managers.

I have only seen PMs work in full-time positions.

Is PM by design a full time function?

Fellow PMs do share your 2 cents on this! 🙌

PM in non mature orgs are essentially program managers. Some do it in founders office, others do in slightly structured leadership away from founder.

Why - what you work next month is not predictable. It's the nature of startups. With evolving priorities, iterations, new learning you are leading one project to the other. Get things done.

Pitch it this way - pick a project by working with the founder. Be a fractional employee. Moonlight if needed.
