Founder's confession - It's not easy 😔

I don’t usually share things like this, but today… I just feel the need to speak from the heart.

Building a startup has been the wildest ride of my life. It’s not just about solving a problem — it’s about carrying the weight of dreams, responsibilities, people’s trust, and your own expectations… all at once.

There’s no roadmap when you're in the middle of a storm. You just keep going.

Your family, relatives, friends question you if this is the right move. You can see worry in their eyes. They feel that you are struggling.

But, you still smile, you fight in silence. You promise yourself — “I’ll make it work” — even when things are falling apart behind the scenes.

Lately, life has been tough. Not for lack of effort. Not because I gave up. But because sometimes, despite giving everything, the results don’t show up when you need them most.

I’ve had to make hard calls. Delay commitments. Miss deadlines I wanted to keep more than anything. Not because I didn’t care — but because I simply couldn’t make things move fast enough.

And yet, every single day, I show up. For my dream. For the people who still believe in me and standing with me.

This post isn’t a pitch. It’s not a cry for help. It’s just me — being real.

If you’ve ever built something from scratch, if you’ve ever kept going when it felt impossible — I think you’ll understand what I’m feeling.

And if you’re reading this — thank you. Maybe all I needed today was to feel heard.

I am still building. Still believing. And I truly think the best part of this story is still ahead.

Finally, the product is out but still need a lot of learning. Your feedback will be invaluable - please use the Pinnzo app (link below) and let me know.

Good product idea in a good niche audience. But it's probably not going to make much money bro. I would suggest going bigger with target market size when building products. The larger your market size, the easier it is to make money.

Products like these may earn money in 3-5 years but you should make sure to invest minimal time and energy in it. Just my two cents, hope it helps. Keep building 👍

Thanks. I agree. I realised this when I approached VCs. So currently running with low budget and trying to get some traction and idea validation

  1. There should nt be re login every single time
  2. Separate the user loaded bookmarked data vs on app provided data
  3. I don't think app need email as well as phone number for login

Just an observation, there is a spelling mistake on the 4th slide on google play store. “Learn”.

Cheers for working so hard. All the best :)

Just get started
You will never be ready

The most important learning. I have been planning to do something for 4 years but plans were always on paper, never saw the light of the day.

This time I started

I feel the same, as a founders we try to do everything possible but sometimes people working with you and for you doesn't deliver what is expected. You can't control everything in life or a company, sometimes somethings may just not working the way we want. Good luck and hope your product does well in the future.

Page when I click is too Big Make it look smaller via a UI design or Slide for Next Page , If it's Too Long No one wants to read it

Thanks for the feedback. We have not yet optimized for devices and gone with slightly bigger intentionally. But yes, this work has to be done. Thanks

Ad Based Model is better , People are not buying Netflix Subscription , Who wants many app subscriptions as the Users who buy are far less compared to people who are addicted to free 🆓 Culture , Great Project

Yes, agree. We will start with ads and see how it goes. But first is traction... then everything comes later

Hi @Ibuildproducts , It's a good idea and I myself was thinking about something like this for a long time. I have a suggestion, if it is not in the pipeline already. Can we give an option to link with websites like Medium.com, Towardsdatascience.com, forbes.com etc. primarily where users already have accounts but we save and summarize the articles that we wish to read there but find it difficult to find time. I observe there is an option to add URL, but that might not always work for paywall enabled pages. I am open to contribute myself too 🙂

Good suggestion

  1. Any feature which can make bookmarks "visible",would be great, coz we bookmark and forget.

  2. Without community/ chat niche reading apps aren't good these days.

  3. Ai which can auto categorise the bookmarks based on the topic /content. And show a snapshot of what one reads.

  4. Also a section, dynamic one , which auto selects articles from bookmarks and shows them to read ! ???

B2B network Anar shuts down

They were backed by Elevation and Accel, had raised ~$7mn Seems like getting transactions to happen was too tough, despite building a network. Getting money out of Indian SMBs, a consistently tough model.

My notes as a super early Swigster
