Founder’s Dilemma
Hi all,
I’m the founder of Mealhood, and we’re excited to launch this August! Mealhood is a platform that lets you order food made in your neighbor’s kitchen — food that’s homemade, healthy, and fresh.
But it’s more than just food delivery. Mealhood is empowering home kitchens — giving talented home chefs (especially women) a way to earn, grow, and be recognized for their passion.
Like every founder, there are days I wonder: Is this the right path? Should I continue or go find a job? Building something from scratch is tough — but every time I hear a chef say, “You gave me hope,” it feels worth it.
What do you think — does this resonate with you?

One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑Is it similar to zomato everyday services?

From user point of view kind of yes, but from chef side no, in Zomato everyday chefs had to post in streak for a week or month. Chef had to declare the menu in advance. Here chefs are free to post anytime they want. It’s like social media. Where chef will post the content which is food and users will consumer the content which is again food 😄

But there are other features for users as well which makes Mealhood unique.

Bud, congrats on your future launch. This is a promising space, if you can manage logistics + affordability for this service I'm sure this will blow up.
This venture needs solid execution chops. You only live life once. Please do not listen to anything else. Founder path is full of learning.
If you fail you learn which is tons of valuable experience.
If you are successful, then there's no stopping.
Just make sure financially you are okay with being no salary initially.

Thanks.

Great idea, me and friend was exploring the same idea! Congratulations 🥳

Thank you

Hygiene and quality of products used is a big problem in commercial kitchens.
How do you ensure hygiene? How do you ensure the products purchased are original ?

Great question. We are keeping a check on our chef kitchens, we verify them once they are onboarding and in our terms and conditions there one clause which says we can visit you anytime for a check and if something concerning if found in terms of hygiene and quality we will suspend them from the platform. Plus we are open for any kind of suggestions which may improve the quality of our service.
First of all congrats.
Having recently quit my job (17 years in tech) to start my business, I can relate to your dilemma. You have found a probable outcomes and you can not wait implementing them
Two consequences:
-
our business might fail - baseline outcome in every venture
-
What if it success?
Wishing you success.
