Got salary deposit today and was few thousand rupees more

I checked the payslip today on AllSec, looks like they forgot to deduct Income Tax

Same for everyone else or it's just random error?

If your CTC is less than 12 Lakhs and you've chosen New Regime, no tax would be deducted for this year.

No, it’s because of the updated tax slabs under New regime. Feels like a hike given that Accenture is not giving any 😂

Its hike given by Nirmala Sitharaman, CTC upto 16.5 lakh is tax free with PF and NPS

In the new tax slabs proposed by Nirmala Sitharaman, there are tax benefits almost at all income levels....for example people earning 23-24 Lacs will now pay annually ~1-1.2 lacs less tax, which will increase the salary by few thousand rupees even for those who are above the 12 lac limit
