Trending @Accenture; Forcefully hardlocked into a project
I was trained in SAP and in bench for 2 months. Recently got an email saying i have been hardlocked to a project in service desk. I don't want to join service desk, it will completely change my career path and affect future. Got a call from HR, told them not interested and later got a mail saying either take the project or termination. Is there anyone else i can reach out to get released from this project?
Try to search project in Accenture portal and apply for that project where you current level matched and contact to the project manager of that project only then you can switch the project initially if you will join the service desk project then try for SAP base project as early as possible
The thing is they don't allow to switch in service desk before 18 months. At least 18 months is mandatory.
That is what they say always same to me but it is not mandatory for you if you are not comfortable with work there just say you want roll off if not then I will not be working until you do roll me off
Totally faced it last year, trained in cloud and hardlocked to monitoring project, with all the experiences I'm saying 2 options 1. go back to bench by roll off(they might put you on PIP), 2. Resign, faced this for almost 8months now, so there are many people like this
Try everything to get out of project I did the same went from supervisor to HR lead
this is happened to my friend as well he was trained in mainframe and gave him the same ultimatum. btw were assigned to any market like emea , asia pacific etc?? also whats your joing date??
Not sure what the market thing is, maybe i don't have the complete details. Training starts next Wednesday. If you are asking company joining date it's oct 24
Bro look outside, same happened to me, I've experience in AI and they allocated me a testing project, but as it's just 7 months here other organisations are doubting it, but hope eventually I'll find a job.
Take that opportunity for now in june they are trying to lay off many people

Actually no, if you are experienced find it outside. But if you are fresh take that project and complete few certificates and proficiency in SAP
