Forceful resignation in Tcs
Buzz is that some people, did put a forceful resignation who are on the bench from a long time, and the most affected ones are the unresponsive to the emails sent by the respective RMG's and also the one who are not reporting to RMG.Is this the thing is actually being done in TCS?

If you are not responding to email and not reporting to your supervisor (in this case rmg) should tcs keep paying you salary ?
Let's say you hired a driver . He does not come to work neither responding to your call will you still keep paying him salary every month after month ?
Such cases are called termination and such people must definitely be terminated

When I was responding to all the RMG mails, but couldn't report to him due to medical issues. He put me on Leave Without Pay.

That's also valid one . If you have medical issues you should apply leave ....
I never understood why everyone feels that if they have medical issues they will be paid salary....again same example if your driver is not coming - how long will you pay him sallary there would be some limit
You could ask HR to deduct your leaves instead of leave without pay if you have leave balance . They will definitely do that if you rprovideocide medical documents

While I totally agree that we do have a moral responsibility to respond to Rmg emails and report to them and do our best to get on with a project at the earliest and not treat rmg as paid vacation I also find some of the rmg rules to be pathetic and them also being wrong in certain places .
I got my letter asking to report to rmg a week after i was released to rmg while skill gathering emails had already started to pour in from day one ...
Also the location they asked me to report was not a convenient one for me as it's on the outskirts of the city and was one of the reasons I had left my previous project I replied to their email asking to be allowed to report to another rmg location within the city but I never heard back from them at all not even acknowledgment and then the following week again on a Friday I get the same email template copy pasted from last week asking to report to same out of city centre from tomorrow (Saturday ) .
Seriously which RMG works on Saturday and you can make efforts to track not reporting but you can't make efforts to rectify your template or respond to people... Now that's some attitude and skill issues with so called Rng HR who are missing on basic corporate and human etiquette

I guess you are new to corporate... Tomorrow in corporate world always means next working day unless explicitly mentioned . This is not a big deal.
And as far as rmg reporting at a distant office is concerned have a look at your hiring contract you signed it and it mentions that company can ask you to report at any office and you agreed.
On human ground they do allow reporting at convenient location but because many have started misusing it they have to be strict... You cannot manage workforce of 6lakh people if rules are not strictly followed.

Yes it is done
