Forceful Project allocation by previous manager
Hi all,
I am having 6+ yrs experience,and working in current project from last 3years,from 1year i have been asking release from the project due to toxic environment and manager himself showing unfair things,and which he accepted. Now finally june 30 is the release date given after 1years discussions,but within that project manager there are multiple projects,which he himself assigned to me without my concern… I have already undergoing treatment for depression ,due to the current project management,now again they are expecting me to join with them only and allocated me without my cocnern,so now what can we do now.. When i mailed to RMG,he said the new prjct lead to frst discuss vth me and new prjct lead drctly said in whatsapp that he is not going to release me at any casue.. Now what can be done in these situations,as i don’t want to go again under the same management and there are few projects already in my hand which they are ready to allocate me..
Only advice I can give is Jump ship good sir.
3 years of exp in TCS itself is alot. Take your learning and value elsewhere.
People would suggest escalating or emailing but by the time action or any result happens you would be critically depressed or lose all will and hope.
Life is too precious to be wasted on an org so toxic. People care about you and you should put in your papers. There are bigger fishes out there. Just cast the line with patience. Heal yourself first. Health comes first always any day.
Thank you sir,Yes sir,you are true ,iam also planning for resignation,but meanwhile iam just looking is there any other option that I can make it… They are arranging different deliver partners, who can talk to me and make me accept,as I am not accepting to any,so this week they stated to connect with one of the different location deliver manager,post that discussion if didn’t works out ,i’ll be saying good bye to TCS….
You know, jumping ship in this market is not that easy, right?
Take long leave you will be released
Long leaves? How many days, what if you use all of your leaves including sl, I've used my 30 earn leave 21 sl, all comp off still nothing in still in sane project? Now tell me what should I do
Generally while we apply for long leave,for 2months,associate should get released from the project,but before that manager will check with you and take a confirmation that post long leave will you the same project or not,if you say no, then mostly leaves will not be approved,if you say yes,it will be mailed to rmg/hr mentioning the same…,
Don't join the project and ask them to show your confirmation via Email or any proof.
