Trending @Accenture; Forced Resignation After Failing CIP Program: Will I Get Paid for the Notice Period?

I was required to go through a CIP program, but since I failed to clear it, my company forced me to resign. In the resignation letter, I was made to state that I was leaving due to personal reasons, even though the resignation was not voluntary.

After submitting my resignation, I was informed that I would be compensated for the 90-day notice period, even though I wouldn't be serving it, as the decision to terminate my employment was theirs. However, I'm unsure if they will follow through on this commitment.

I'm posting this question to ask if anyone else has experienced a similar situation—failing a CIP program, being forced to resign, and later actually receiving the 90-day notice period pay without serving it.

Yes, they will compensate for 90 days and clear F&F settlement without any delays/reductions.
Do not worry and all the very best !!

CIP - Capability Improvement Program

If a candidate who's on the bench fails to clear 2-3 interviews because of his/her skill issues, then they'll make you go through this program. They wanna make sure that the candidate is capable of continuing in Accenture.

oh I have been in bench for almost 2 months now but I didnt got any official interview opportunity from accenture. Got two Random ping in teams regarding some bul shit receptionist level work which is completely out of my current domain so rejected those in teams only it started and ended. Now I have been in bench for this long and I have been seeing increasing no of people in the bench. So am I in trouble?

Anyone from HR/PMO team on this platform that can give me their insight?

My friend told me they will compensate for the 90 day payment. Data scientists don't have projects in Accenture? I mean no scope for data scientists at all in Accenture?

Actually this is on me for not being honest about my role, here on this app. Sorry about this.

I was in a support project, and wanted to change my working domain to data science. So, I left the project and up-skilled myself by learning many new tools and all. I just thought of going with the same role while creating this account a few weeks ago.

In fact, there are openings for data science projects in Accenture. But most of these projects wanted a candidate with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in that particular domain.

Don't worry at all. They will pay the amount for 3 months and also any other payments that you should be getting.

The main purpose of this post was to get a confirmation on this. Glad that you guys cleared my confusion. Thank you :)

Termination invites the legal process, so companies ask you to resign. They will pay all promised due and keep your record clear. If you don't resign they will take the legal route, and feedback in company history will be negative.

This makes sense and my HR said something which had a similar tone. And thanks for clearing this thing up :)

Not only thy will pay you 3months salary they will pay you current months salary and all the earned leaves also will be encashed all together on the month you resined.

So it will be roughly 2 lacks ,
Just dont get relaxed and join any company since you are a immediate joiner , even though its offering you fresher role

Yes, I've already thought about this before I thought about the resignation. And also thank you for pointing it out :)

What is CIP? Is it same as PIP?

JazzyPickle
JazzyPickle

I am not sure about PIP but CIP means Capability Improvement Program

If you're on the bench and fail to clear 2-3 interviews then you'll be forced through this program. They'll assess you on your primary skill by taking 4 interviews over the period of 4 weeks and decide whether to keep you or not by the end of the fourth week.
