Trending @Cognizant; Forced release

I will go to maternity leave in end of September, I have informed that to my manager 3 months ago and suddenly yesterday they called me and said they are going to release and asked to fill my PEA in go perform for giving feedback on H1 deliverables. And I will be on the bench from aug 1.

Can anyone tell me the bench period and notice period in cognizant and will this release and bench make me terminate from my job? Is this a forced release due to my upcoming maternity leave?
