Force resignation and layoff in TCS increasing
Today at the Bangalore office, over 70+ employees were forced to resign by the HR and RMG teams. Even senior employees at C3 level and above were included in this action. No second chances were given, and those affected were not provided with opportunities to improve or transfer to other projects.
The selection seemed to target individuals with extended periods of unallocation, although even some billable resources were reportedly asked to resign. The full list of impacted employees appears to have been pre-decided.
There is growing concern that the RMG team is deliberately delaying project allocations for unallocated employees, potentially pushing them toward forced resignation. For those who are currently unallocated, the outlook is uncertain, especially when trying to get placed in projects that match their skill sets. Some rumours (maybe truth) actually the layoff is 30000 instead of replying 12000 in public.
Given the current situation, it may be wise to explore alternative options—such as leveraging personal networks for internal project opportunities or considering external job prospects.

Actual target is 90000+ across all locations but they are saying 12000

Did they received any pay ?
