Force Release from Project
Dear TCSers,
As a lead I can't do this activity but recently I received a communication from the leadership team that informing all leads to prepare the list of trainee/associate those are having less then 2 years of TCS experience and those should be released from the project within December 2024. It's not fair.
Disclaimer : I recently joined as a Technical Lead in TCS and I am also going to be one of them in the list I assume.
This is new addition. Already they are monitoring (in collaboration with BMC access control) in back end who is not maintaining minimum hours (6-8 hrs) at office. There my be sudden surprise to many. TCS knows that majority of people in TCS are not like other companies and can immediately resign. They will get enough time to replace people and fill the gap and run the show. So better don't create any mess this time if you don't have offer in hand. TATA is becoming like other hire and fire company now since Rajesh Gopinathan left. All the bad decision for employees (like more cut in QVA) started since then.
Reason??
Reason is that people who reach 3 yrs exp get c1 band. They get acquainted with the project and its rules.
They cannot be fooled by these people's shitty rules and therefore they are not afraid
Nowadays projects don't keep senior resources except leads managers
Tcs is hiring juniors. Train them in shitty support project and release them in bulk after 2 or 3 yrs
I'm in notice period, will I be released early, I joined in july
Org. sud first create a list of those oldies who are just sitting idle , creating beaurocracy, politics , not welcoming lateral hire and taking salary without doing any productive work.
This will never happen in India based Organizations (like - TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc)
We also have the same communication but it's only for offshore(asked everyone offshore resources to add their TCS experience). Not sure about the releasing the associates who are having less than 2 years of Tcs experience.
I think Iām also a victim of this. I joined TCS as a fresher and got released from my project before completing a year.
