For married folks, is it possible to depend on single salary/job

I want to know about families on single income with kids. How difficult is it and how stressful does it become?
It all depends on your lifestyle and attitude. Had only one earning parents and have never felt like we had financial issues, earning parent always provided us with the best. It's not like the salary being earned was great, just about priorities. Of course in a cosmo/metro city things like rent aren't in our control, but the rest is.
It's enough provided (a) you have enough savings / investments (b) these investments are deployed right way (you are getting decent ROI) (c) you are mindful of your major expenses (foreign travel , car , property etc )
The biggest expense In immediate future is a house. The next biggest expense over time is medical. After buying that house unless you are extrvagant 1 salary is enough in our country. If you are lucky to have a parents house, then 1 salary is more than enough.
Depends on your lifestyle and aspirations, number of kids you have, current salary meeting your lifestyle and aspirations.
