Trending @Infosys; For lateral, Is it advisable to switch to a new company within the Mainframe Technology??
I have 2.10 years of experience working with Mainframe Technology at Infosys. Currently I'm planning to switch. Is it advisable to switch to a new company within the Mainframe Technology domain??
Note:I come from a background in B.Sc Computer Science, which is why it took nearly 3 years for me to be promoted to a SE role. However after nearly 3 years, Infosys is still paying me a salary similar to that of a fresh graduate.
The hiring market right now is not in its best state. You should first try finding companies that are hiring for your skill set and see if you do get interviews.
If you’re getting interviews, then see if you can crack that.
If you’re not getting interviews, then you might want to switch stack.
I already attending few company interviews. Meanwhile I want to know whether Mainframe Technology Domain is good for the long run of my career..?
