Food in company accomodation

I am currently staying in a hotel provided by my company, the stay is for 10 days to search for a housing in the new location.

Will the food be also be compensated by the company, as it's a 5 star hotel and I can't afford the food prices.

Obviously I can ask the HR, but don't want to ponder her much as she had already a bit of hassle due to some mistake by me.

Usually it's written in the contract. Nonetheless there is no shame in contacting HR.

Most of the times, breakfast buffet is complimentary with the stay. You can check the company policy documents.
