Folks working brutal hours: what mundane tasks do you happily throw money at just to buy back your weekends?
If you work 70 hours and refuse to pay for LAUNDRY, maybe you don't know how to value time.
Actually you know what Not MAYBE. NOT PROBABLY. You. Dont. Know. How. To. Value. Time. PERIOD.
What exactly were you doing on your Saturday and Sunday?
- Admiring your clean bathroom tiles?
- Evaluating grocery delivery fees instead of your actual sanity?
- Collecting meaningless SAVINGS that lead to absolutely NOTHING?
And THEN, after dragging yourself through this circus of a brutal work week, you wake up today on Wednesday and go: "Hmmm, we're worried about burning out…" Are you serious??? At this point, WHO is actually burning you out here? The company? Or the person who wasted their entire weekend doing chores that should have taken 30 minutes to outsource?
If BURNOUT was a concern, that should have been addressed DAY ONE. Not when you have already spent HOURS playing your multi-level household pacman.
I happily throw money at cleaning apps and daily meal subs just to breathe.
You know what doing everything yourself tells me?
- You and your cheap mindset has no clue what you/they are optimizing for
- Your boundaries are spineless. You can’t say NO to chores early, so you drag it out until Monday does it for you
- Your weekends are BROKEN.

You're early. There are no comments yet.
