Folks who used to work for TCS before the pandemic, did ya’ll spend 9 fucking hours in the office?
Just got a mail from one of the heads of BFSI and I mentioned that on is expected to be in office as per TCS’s policy.
Did ya’ll spend 9 hours in office even before the pandemic?
Lol.. good question. The email doesnt says 9hrs. They have used some term. Before pandemic also you can track from the card in card out swipe reports. Just that it was never highlighted. I spent 8 hrs on avg. 9hrs is not just possible.

Things were different before pandemic. Entire team in one location, desktops being allocated, connecting with onsite via Skype + dialin... So it was a good environment. Now that we are used to WFH, full time WFO sucks.
I mean, sort of. There were days when I spent around 10+ hours and there were days I spent 7 hours. No one bothered me too much back then.
