Trending @Accenture; Folks who are anxious for hikes and promotions, relax. Nobody knows anything, everyone is speculating
Hey folks, off late seeing so many posts on hikes and promotions, I think nobody knows anything and everyone is speculating.
Even if there is a communication from leadership for a practice or project, that seems specific to that practice or project.
Let’s not become restless and anxious over hikes. It will be told to us in October end or early November. No point on panicking.
As for hike % and VP, again it varies from year to year and project to project. Don’t worry, we’ll all get to know in a month or two.
Keep calm and rant away 😉

You are a product manager. You are saying the same lines to the employees who are currently resigning you. You are worried about the retention policy and the percentage you need to show to your HR. Can you give the statistics of hikes and promotions which have been done recently. Because if you search for inorganic growth in Accenture over Google it shows how much Accenture has done it. It shows hires of freshers and how much Accenture has spent in purchasing new AI companies? But what is the current retention rate under your DUs? How many hikes have been provided to long existing employees? Why is there a stupid rule there that there should be one employee per level for a DU for PIP? Even if the employee is doing well the one doesn't overcome the other employee's achievements that's working over hours doing multiple things, sacrificing family life only makes that achievable. I am sure you will share all the messages circulating around here with HR. But the truth is the truth. Even if an employee is loyal to Accenture, Accenture is never loyal to the employee.
Today you are telling us this. Tomorrow when your leadership will mark at the last position in simple excel sheet after discussion just because you couldn't be around the clock and had to dedicating your time to family because of some illnesses. Tomorrow you will be repeating the same lines as me. Please be truthful about your words. False words can ruin others future if they don't take steps at right time.
But if you read this and help existing employees to balance out their salaries then I will be glad I was able to help out my fellow colleagues before I had left Accenture.
Buddy that’s a long comment. I am not gonna share anything with HR. Hell I don’t know any HR. I am a fellow like you all.
Wrote this post as I see so many posts around this and the comments doesn’t seems to help. A 15% hike for an L9 can be his personal experience and can’t be generalised. My whole idea is to communicate that there’s no need to panic. All are speculating and all is hearsay. Just relax and let’s focus on what we can actually control.
I am too hoping for a promotion but talking about it, asking on the app doesn’t guarantee it. It’ll only make me more anxious. So let’s all remain less anxious and rant or share what’s bothering us in our workplace

Mail:
Subject: Resignation mail Body: Bye bye 😁
P.S.- short and simple

Relax. Promotions and hikes are always a mystery. Expect news by October end or early November. Stay focused on your work. Speculation won't help.

I don’t agree with ‘Stay Focused On Work’ . If any company is causing this level of anxiety related to hike or promotion among its employees then I think employees should not stay in the company. Instead of focusing on performing good here one should invest there time and energy to look for opportunities outside .
Just my opinion 😀

@Aragorn_urf_Maverick what do you say on that? Again remain calm etc etc..
Is there anything else you can do? It’s either staying in Accenture or moving out. So why stressing on it. Better look out if you get any
