Folks to TCS to Infosys, what are the things you missed when you were in TCS and what are the things you loved in Infosys?
Have 45 days of NP left. By seeing the ay my profile is being rejected, I have a feeling that I might have to join Infosys. Not planning to stay there longer than 1-1.5 years.
But curious to know what what did folks from TCS miss in Infy and what did they live over there.

Pros of Infy. Hybrid culture. QVA even if in bench. Good ambience and campus. Easy release policy if u don't like the project.
Cons. Many short term projects. Bench policy is not good but better than TCS.

What about growth and learning? Is Infosys also flooded with people who would stay there and wait for outside opportunity? Is it filled with folks who just want to retire over there?
Do you have any idea on work culture in Infosys Consulting?

Who said easy release policy? Looks like you’re talking some other side of Infy because as far as I know there are negligible chances of release if work is there in project!

Missing the long term projects in TCS. Here in Infy, the projects are shorter & you get released to the bench and always dread what kind of project you're getting allocated to next. Also, these guys deduct a lot of money from your salary. The timesheet is also complicated for no reason, missing filling the simple timesheet for 9 hours just by copy pasting. Also.. most of the projects from my vertical are in the South.
The only things I liked in Infy are - The campus, hybrid work policy, some people are cool (knowledge and work ethic wise).

You mean to say Infosys Bangalore has a lot of projects?

TCS has better leave policy

Infy mysuru life during training. Those were awesome days
