Fo a Leeway in TCS
As far as I have experienced there's always a wiggle room or understanding or a leeway in TCS in almost anything.
It's been 3 years and the job is not satisfactory neither professionally nor economically
Despite "having" a role of AI Ops engineer till now I have been assigned simple visualization work on demo data.
Based on interviews I have been appearing on that's nowhere close to what industry standards are. Not to mention if one where to do hands on practice of tools (say Vertex AI, training an LLM like GPT2) for the required role he must spend a hefty sum just to avail it that's completely disregarding the time spent to practice these
Being patient with TCS to catch up would mean to suffer professionally and financially for years and if I have to travel to the office I have to lose hours to study for a better opportunity.
I am losing sleep over this. What should I do? How do I get out of this situation and atleast not think of ending it all?
N.B. I was a data engineer before this and when I appeared for interviews they demanded hands on for Azure or AWS not just the certification.

Same here. I have lost my sleep and suffering professionally. Guess what, I started attending interviews and I'm way behind on every skills which I supposed to possess.

I talked to my Reviewer, manager and DM And came to a conclusion that I'll have to appear for at least 2-3 days.
I'll manage my studies in the rest.
