Yup. This makes me really wonder about Flipkart's priorities.
Anyway Flipkart has really good market share when it comes to t2-t3 cities. Where even Amazon probably doesn't have faster deliveries. That's how they have probably prioritised their business.
Since grapevine is mostly City folks, Amazon certainly has maximum share. Am a Flipkart customer though. Through and through. Never faced a single problem with it. And I am mostly fine with their speed

I have been in BPO sector of Flipkart process. They cancel products whose price have increased recently and ask customers to reorder the same product with a meagre gift card as a compensation and recently have been delaying most products to the customers even in Tier 1 Cities. Everyone on the floor of Flipkart process had quit using Flipkart. Instead used Amazon

I'm a bit biased towards Flipkart as an ex-employee. But Amazon has faster delivery in most cases.
