Why they keep price so high even when 90% seats are vacant...

I simply couldn't understand.

They are against unit economics or what...

Case 1, Price of Ticket 10k if 90% seats available

Case 2, Price is 11k if 10% seats available

Flight seat demand outweighing supply and a bit of price gouging? They know the seats will fill up 95% before the actual date so why drop the prices?

Hope tata rules this space and indigo, spicejet etc duopoly stops on few routes

I guess it's all due to jet and go air going kaput. Supply demand game. I used to call a travel agent who would get me a flight for 5k for blr- jaipur for the very next day on Go air. And when I looked at mmt, only indigo used to be option with 10k+ fare.
