Fishbowl Vs Grapevine

Since I installed Fishbowl on my mobile, all notifications from Grapevine gradually disappeared, and became nil. This continued for a week and I uninstalled Fishbowl. Now they are back again as before. Is Fishbowl doing this deliberately?? Anyone else faced this?
