First Time Car Recommendation
Hey everyone! I’m planning to buy my first car and could really use some advice. What are the best tips, brands, or models for first-time buyers?
Looking for something which reliable in terms of engine performance, budget around 10L, would love to go on long rides. Expecting basic features like TPMS, ESP, Android/Car Play, Rear defogger etc.
Shortlist as of now: Ignis, i10, Brezza
PS: I’m into bikes and really love driving. Expecting to develop same love with cars as well.
All 3 are from different segments. Which city do you plan to drive in?
I would have Ignis for Bangalore traffic as it's quite spacious for its size and is fun to drive.
For long distance, I would go with Brezza.
Bangalore indeed 😅 But isn’t it like Maruti’s won’t get those TPMS sort of systems by default even for higher variants?
Not sure. Maybe check the specs for those variants.
I like my car raw - more mechanics, less electronics.
Having said that, You may want to go with Brezza because places in and around Bangalore have huge speed breakers that scrape your car's bottom when the car is loaded. High ground clearance helps here.
Avoid maruti suzuki if you want safety.

Log tumhe kaafi gyaan denger but yaad rakho, you can never get wrong with Maruti and Hyundai.
Tried and tested for Indian roads and People.
Fir aayenge TATA and Mahindra wale keyboard warriors, humare office me kaafi h but jum unko khud car leni thi none of the bought Tata / Mahindra and went with Hyundai.
So car is something that depends on your family and use case.
