First appraisal in TCS. I worked in two projects during this time. Rating for 1st project - 3.69 & for 2nd is 4.85. What will be hike % ?

Your 2nd project supervisor will say we gave you 4.85 but your old project pulled you down. Expect nothing more than B band and 5-6% hike

If joined as fresher then it goes to 7 to 10%, for lateral joinee there is no appraisal for first year.

I have 7yrs of experience, switched to TCS in March2024. I didn't get you... lateral means?

Joined in March 24 means this year you will get anniversary ratings only. Only IPF will be there , sorry to say. You will be getting 1st appraisal hike in next yr cycle.
