Trending @Infosys; First appraisal cycle- Outstanding rating received.

I joined Infosys in January 2024, straight out of college. I have received my appraisal rating as Outstanding. What is the significance of that, financially and in terms of promotions?

Congrats but sorry to disappoint you that rating is to encourage you and may not have a significant impact in your journey with Infosys. You might get a decent hike in your hike cycle

What is a hike cycle?

Is he applicable for the Jan 2025 hike? I also joined in Dec 2023. So, thought to check.

Financially you will get the highest variable pay in Infosys. If average is 65% you will get 90-95% of your variable pay. Hikes you will get 5-8% more than average hikes in your unit. 1 OS on it’s own will nut help but if you get 2-3 in a row your promotions will be fast tracked.
