Fired because manager thought they might leave
This is like - I'll kill myself preemptively as someone else is planning to kill me.
You drink coffee to kill time. Not leetcode.
I agree, doing Leetcode on work time isn't professional.
But even I was addicted to LC at some point of time and used to do it just to pass time outside of office. So I can understand what the person could've done Leetcode to pass time.
You got fired because they had decided to fire you. Leetcode is just a reason they said. If you were doing nothing, the would have fired you saying you are doing nothing.
Always be normal in office, watch youtube, facebook like everyone else to kill time. IF nothing is available , then set up meetings.
